Why do we roast weekly and when should freshly roasted coffee be consumed?

Freshly roasted coffee needs a short rest period — typically 3 to 7 days — to allow carbon dioxide to release and the flavours to fully develop. Drinking it too early can mute the taste, while waiting too long can lead to a loss of aroma and flavour.


The ideal window to enjoy your coffee is between 7 and 21 days after roasting.
