When you sip your morning coffee, you’re tasting the final chapter of a global journey — one that begins thousands of kilometres away on a coffee farm and ends with a beautifully branded bag on your shelf.
At Ublend®, we take pride in every step of that journey, ensuring that your private label coffee is not only delicious, but traceable, consistent, and crafted to reflect your brand.
Here’s what happens behind the scenes to bring your coffee from farm to bag.
1. Sourcing the Green Coffee – It Starts with the Right Origin
Great coffee starts at origin. We partner with trusted producers and cooperatives across Africa, Central and South America, and Asia, selecting beans that meet high standards for quality, flavour, and sustainability.
Each coffee is graded and evaluated based on:
Altitude and climate
Processing method (washed, natural, honey, etc.)
Bean size, weight, and colour
Cupping score (SCA standards)
Whether you’re looking for a smooth Brazilian base or a fruity Ethiopian highlight, we can help you build a profile from the ground up — or start with one of our proven blends.
2. Quality Control – Testing Before Roasting
Before any beans are roasted, we analyse and sort them by:
Screen size and density
Moisture content
Visual defects
Colour uniformity
This attention to detail ensures that every roast is consistent and optimised for flavour — and it’s a key reason why our private label partners experience fewer quality issues and more loyal customers.
3. Roasting – Precision Meets Craft
Using state-of-the-art automated roasting equipment, we create repeatable roast profiles for every blend or single origin. We monitor:
Time and temperature curves
Airflow and drum speed
Colour tracking via roast colour meters
Crack timing and development
Whether you choose a ready-to-go Ublend® blend or a completely custom roast, we cup and test every batch to ensure it matches your desired flavour profile — every time.
4. Packaging – Your Brand, Front and Centre
Once roasted, your coffee is quickly packed into bags fitted with one-way valves to let gases escape while keeping oxygen out — preserving freshness.
You can choose from:
Plain or custom-printed bags (250g, 500g, 1kg)
Compostable or recyclable packaging options
Nespresso® compatible capsules with custom sleeves*
Why This Journey Matters
Every step in this journey is built for quality, consistency, and simplicity — so you can focus on growing your brand. Whether you're launching a private label for the first time or scaling up, Ublend® gives you full control over the story your coffee tells — from farm to bag.
